Janna, we have a webpage I can share. It has several different steps the volunteer needs to complete. For example watch a video of our president and wheelchair safety. There are several pdf files they have to read and then take a test. Also during the interview, HIPAA and confidentiality, dress code, etc. are stressed.  We do something similar for yearly training. How do you handle volunteer orientation for your new adult volunteers?  We were asking volunteers to attend one day of the two day orientation for new employees but I have people interested in volunteering that work or are in college and cannot attend new employee orientation.  So I need to change how my process for new volunteer orientation.  

What is your process for new volunteer orientation?  

Does anyone have a power point presentation that they would be willing to share?

  Do you email a power point to new volunteers or do you have a one on one orientation?
